  • Cool new camera. Seems as if it has lots of potential. I will be interested to see what you think of it after you have test driven it. Loved the Tulip shot and several others. My relatives from Vancouver recently went to the Tulip festival in Anacortes,Washington, but I saw only a couple of snap shots. Looking forward to more great shots from you. We are planning a trip to Quebec City this fall. I need to get out and practice with my camera before the trip as I am sure there will be many photo ops. Keep clicking!

  • Hello Webfey, glad you made it to this side of Spring. I downloaded Nootka Sound and Emerald Forest for screensavers. You are right smack in the middle of God's country and your photos help bring that beauty to me. Thanks so much and look forward to a lot more activity from you as the weather improves. Happy Hunting!

  • Enjoyed your latest contributions after the winter repose. "Shore Dinner" made me salivate. Mom grew up in Powell River,BC, and I feel very connected to the sea. Look forward to more shots as the weather improves.

  • Not sure if you recently turned 48, or if that was 2 years ago. However , lovely picture on the Feb 28th post. I keep an eye on your posts, love your neck of the woods and enjoy your eye. We have very similar taste. In any event, happy belated birthday!

  • Hi Webfey. In answer to your question about the Princess's skeleton. Let me say that it is definitely real and was placed in its sacrificial position by the Mayan priests of the day. The young lady was likely not killed at that spot but was positioned in a clear pool of water in that cavern where she lies today.Over time the limestone sediment calcified the skeleton and it is fixed in place. There are several human remains in the Mayan cave known as Atun Tunichil Muknal. Translated in means, stone cave sepulcher.
