Hello Jerry! Thank you for your message. I'm so glad you liked the Oregon pictures and the one with the covered bridge. I actually have several covered bridge shots so I'm not sure which one it was that you liked so much. Both are white bridges however. One is the Irish Bend Bridge and the other is the Hayden Bridge. I've never been to Klammath Falls, but I've seen tons of pictures of it and it is just breathtaking. Your son was born in a beautiful place! I looked quickly at your album that you suggested and it is simply gorgeous. I'll view it in greater detail tomorrow since it's late now and I need to get to bed. Take care, hugs Michelle

The tornado did hit our county, but north of town (I live south of town)... just a big oak tree limb blown down in my yard, plus a shingle or two off the roof. There were 3 deaths in our county but a bit further northeast from where I took the photos. My neighbor went to the courthouse basement... she said it was full of people, but I decided to stay home with my kitties. Our local paper said it was an F4 tornado that hit our county between 7:27 pm to 7:46 pm. Thanks for visiting my Tornado and Shiloh albums, Jerry! I hope you have a great day! Sincerely, June

Hello Jerry. Thank you for telling me about the "big snow" of two days! It's a little disconcerting that the Seasons have changed so much, but I'm happy that the birds and sheep weren't too cold for too long:-) Our Wet Seasons used to bring up to 12inches a night, for a fortnight at a time, when we first came to Mackay 60 years ago - now we have water restrictions! I had an idea that the lovely photo I commented on was of the Adelaide Hills. One of my twin sons and his wife live in Adelaide, SA. They are happy down there (so far away, though!) Again, thanks for answering me, and thanks for the invite to be your friend. I am very happy to accept, although my poor efforts at photography are no match for yours, I'm afraid. My son Mark took some photos of the flooded road that cut Glenden off from Mackay, so with his permission I'll post them shortly - just to prove we actually did have rain! Cheers. Margaret downunder.

Jerry, Thank you for your kind comments on my photos. I would like to aspire also to make money with my photos one day...I am saving for a better camera at the moment,...so how many megapixels is your Nikon D-70? Do you use any side flash? How long have you had that wonderful camera? A guy told me once that it is not the quality of the camera, but the eye of the photographer that makes good pics..I say it is definatly both!

Hi Jerry! Sure sounds like a lovely trip to Australia & New Zealand you had there! I have some email friends in New Zealand and ever since they mailed me a calendar of the place, I have wanted to see it! The pictures on the calendar sure revealed beautiful places! Will look forward to seeing your photos! Have a happy thanksgiving! June

Hi Jerry, Thank you so much for your explanation about the sunflowers. I know they don't harvest the soy beans around here until after the frost, but I didn't know the same was true for sunflowers - very interesting. And it makes quite the winter photo! Congrats on the presentation of your sun dog photos - hope you have (had) a great trip to DC (about 95 miles from me in VA) - that's quite an honor. And thanks for the invite, which I gladly accepted. Your photos are wonderful and I look forward to more browsing around in your albums. Cheers, Lynne
