Dear Vera! So glad to hear from you (at long last)! I thought you might have been out of town, but some of your messages mention "bad news." Hope that has nothing to do with your health. Yes--I do remember this exciting time of year when I was still in the States (NYC). Hi Vera, thank you for your messages. I'm sorry you are having rough times now, but I know you can do it, but get enough rest, OK? No, my computer email is still not working and we've tried for over a month to fix it. I just don't have time for that...we are still painting and cleaning. Yesterday he stained the stairs and the fumes made me sick, because now it's too cold to have the doors open. It looks like fall still, but it's cold, foggy and we may have snow soon. I decided to put down my kitty Baby this week. She was 20 1/2. I wanted to be sure to be able to bury her in the garden before the ground freezes over or you can't dig. I'm sad. That makes 5 dogs and 3 cats I've lost to old age in the last year and a half. Now I just have the 5 young ones. I've been thinking of you, Dear Vera, take care! Hugs, Carol Jean

Vera, The editors surprised me. Thank you for visiting my featured album yesterday. It was fun making all those collages from approx. 300 pictures - also a lot of work. I love doing it and am glad that more people now have had the opportunity to enjoy the full flavor of the market and fruits of my labor...pardon the pun. We still ar having unseasonably hot weather - 90-95 degrees. I wish it would cool off soon so we can enjoy going on photo shoots.Have a great weekend. Carol

This is the first I've been on my computer for a week or two. Ted was here a few times, but we still don't have my email working right. That's a month now. And we are not done painting. We decided the back room as you come into the house needed some paint and cleaning too, and the bathroom. Windows and doors mostly where they get a lot of use. The walls are ok if they get dusted. But I'm so tired and sore. And Richard is being a stinker today, repeating every thing I say, thinking he's being funny, like a little kid. Oh, I had to put Pepe to sleep a week ago because of his Cushings, and he was just getting crazy and biting and yapping all day. Poor little dog. He was 11 1/2 years old. Now I think it's time to take my 20 1/2 year old cat Baby in too. It's been a hard month for me. And I keep putting my back out. Bummer. That's me, Little Miss Sunshine! Sorry. Hi Vera, thank you for your message. No, we still can't get my computer problems worked out, and we have been working on it for two weeks. Poor Ted. Because I can't get any email, I haven't been using my computer as much. We've been doing some more cleaning and clearing out, and we are painting the cupboard and doors in the kitchen. I'm not doing the walls though, because I don't want to move the furniture out, just make things look a bit nicer. We need to get the painting done before it gets too cold to have the doors open to air things out. We are tired and doing 3 things at once. I'm still thinking of you and will write more soon.
