No problem with the noise from the Great Outdoors at all. Did not have any chairs or tables scraping above us, very occasionally you would hear that someone was talking above, but that was not a problem. To be honest, the sound of the wake drowned any other noise out on the balcony. The balconies below are considerably larger. They are all suites apart from the two balcony cabins below on each deck. They are a bargain and the balconies are as deep if not as wide. If you look at the aft shots from above in my Alesund album you get an idea of it.
