Hi Paul, thanks for the nice words in my album flower art. You asked how they keep the flowers fresh. In November they start to sign the cars and they start build them bit by bit. That takes ca. 8 months till trhe frames are ready (they have to do that after work) In early September the big parade takes place. Two days before the big parade they work day and night to decorate the cars with thousants and thousant of flowers and that's the result. Greetings Ria

I thouroughly enjoyed your comments on the album that I created about my grandparents. Ancestraly in my line Ti means uncle...but it seems you would be too young to be my Uncle, although going along with the "deliverance" comment, probably not. But the truth of the matter is, there is more truth to the idea presented in that movie than not. Mental illness and deformity can result from marriages of very "close" family. Hi Paul I came across this site completely by accident. When I saw your photos of Mica Creek I got a little choked up. I lived in Mica Creek from 1970 to 1973 and was shocked to see what was left of "my town". I did a lot of growing up there and had many little adventures. It was sad to see all the things that my memories were attached were gone. Thank you for sharing your photos Wayne

Bless you, Paul, for your photos of Mica Creek! I've wanted to see the place again, ever since I visited my aunt and uncle there, c. 1977. I can scarcely believe how different it looks now...it's so creepy to think that the place I camped with my mom and dad is UNDER WATER!!!
