well hello sweetness!! my gosh I nearly forgot what you looked like girlfriend! thankyou for all them kuddos on my family tree. I do LOVE old images....the past....resonates in me always.....and yes my dad is a charecter....still! lol!! my Uncle too...they were nearly signed up as another Smothers brothers comedy duo. But, turned hollywood down becuase they wanted to be singers!! funny!! your story about your husband meeting the family of the Viet Cong that was killed must be very very moving! I would truly love to hear about it...please tell me on my board any time! Hi Tib, and thank you for checking out B&W and Sepia album. they sure had some pretty trippy colors going on in there eh?, man. I dont know why, generally being in a house like that all alone, oooohhhhh eeee ooohh, but I really felt comfy in there, never an uncomfortable moment. There were no: abandoned signs, no traspassing, no keep out. and the back door was wide open. And at that biggest barn I fell in love with the white solid wood doors that were just leaning against the barn as garbage, we have glass and brass doornobs at home just waiting to be put on something worthy. I have asked geo. to check out who owns the prop. and see if we can buy the doors, for our bedrooms in our house.....of course a friend of ours is going,,,,,,hey is that aluminum on those roofs, some guys....I tell ya.......sorry male ws friends.;~}

Thanks Tibby for the comment on the pic of my Dad :-) I found out just a while ago he was peeved that I posted those..he was embarassed that people saw him being silly with me wearing my mum's hat. I told him how great everyone thought he looked!!! He said it is nice you are proud of me..but it makes me feel silly!! :-)) I will only post photos now of him wearing his very own hats LOL!! I am just so delighted he is well after such a long winter of being sick that I want everyone to see him! :-) Hugs,Donna

Dear Tibby, thank you for the many compliments on my paperweight album. So sorry to hear about your mother but I look forward to the album you plan of her collection. My small collection started when I found 2 of them at a dollar store and brought them home to decorate my desk. I was amazed when the sun shone in the window and seemed to set the paperweights on fire. Thus are new ideas born. Sue

Hello Dear Girl!! thank you so much for stopping by to visit with me in May on the Mountain!!! Glad you liked that little album. I still can't get over the difference between spring on the mountain, and spring here in Maryland! You asked where those shots were taken ... we have a very tiny ski cabin in Blue Knob, Pennsylvania. It's about midway between Altoona and Johnstown. But, yes, I'm quite well known at the first aid station, most recently for falling off the chair lift (March '07) when I broke my wrist and messed up my shoulder. I fell while exiting the chair --- it caught my jacket and drilled me into the ice. So, I think Dear Hubby was being cute when he snapped me at the First Aid station!!! Glad you got a chuckle from those shots ... that was my intent!!! Best regards ... Lois
