  • Thanks so much for the info on the trees and the lettering. I'd seen a few of the peel off letterings last Christmas season on Frontgate.com (one of my favorite places), but nothing as nice as the one you guyz have...it was perfect in that spot. I started buying the "slim" trees as they're easier to fit in my diminishing spots, but the commercial ones you have are even better. I'll have to keep a look out for them. The upside down trees are a favorite of mine as well. The one in my kitchen I call my champagne tree as I have all champagne colored balls (bubbles) and ornaments on it. It's a lot of fun and really a talking point when visitors come in. I found the quality of upside down trees varies widely, so you have to be careful. I was so impressed with the way you guyz have done your villages. I collect mostly the Dickens Village with a bit of Christmas in the City when it "fits". I've just run out of display space, so I took over a bookcase wall in the music room. It has nowhere near the feel of a street scene as yours does - so - I'm gonna work on it. I really liked yours. I recently found Dept 56 has come out with battery conversion kits so you can place whatever building you want in places where a cord would be inconvenient. I've got this idea for the dining table next Christmas...can't wait. And thanks for visiting my album...I'm very appreciative of your comments. I just love Christmas...I look forward to starting the whole process every September. I'm adding 4 more major trees this season...one will be nothing but teddys bears, one with angels, and I have NO idea what the other two will be, but hey, you can't have enough.
