Hi~I've been wondering for a very long time now if there is any place or thing in Newport that you might like to see? I'm a native of Wakefield, RI and have lived over here about 35 years after my husbands Navy retirement.My favorite place here is the Shipyard on Washington Street and I loved everything to do with the Puma and The Monster racing boats.They looked so pretty out on the water.Happy Holidays to You and Your Family~Carolyn

Hi Susan. 7.8 that a pretty big shake and for two minutes. It was down south in a non population area. Yes things fell off shelves in the local shops and the power went out, but no one was hurt. here in New Zealand we are known as the "Shaky Isles" I you want earthquakes there's no need to bring your own..
