I love your paintings! I used to oil paint on wood (beginner) and have just found 4 fruit plaques that have been stored (not too well I might add). They have a spray coating of varnish over them - but now need to be cleaned up and I'm not sure what to use -- can I use mineral spirits or will that take the varnish coating off & remove some of the paint?
