I totally understand, Barb. I went back to work 10 years ago after staying home for 18 years. (WHY did I do that????) I work at our local bank. You'll catch on soon enough. Working sure does cut into your day, though. I'd retire but would miss the extra $. It's an okay job, if ya gotta have one. :-) I guess we should be thankful to have a job in this economy. Hi Barb, OMG me again, thanks for wanting to be "my friend" not sure how this works here, there's friends statis, or fans or just people that are bookmarked. All new to me, anyhow I usually just use the computer as a glorified type writer. Now that I'm on webshots, have to learn the lingo & abbreviations. Some ladies write about 'DH', I assume thats 'Dearest Husband', down under it can mean something quite different. LOL. Anyhow, hope you keep in touch. bye for now, Connie

Hi Barb, me again, you'll get tired of hearing from me I'm sure. Noticed that alot of girls aren't on the sites for months at a time, must be time constraints??? Anyway was going thru your pics again, so inspiring, and I'm like you, inspired by others creativity that I can't wait to make something new, but there's no pattern available so have to make do myself. Love all the things you've made or made over; my partner Lindsay sounds the same as your husband, likes the natural timber look, no imagination when it comes to painting a piece of furniture, panic stations. Dear Barb, Thank you so much for your lovely comments; believe me I feel 80 somedays. I'm just about to post some new pics, one is a shelf that I bought for $1. It was stained so I just gave it a light sand, painted it black and rubbed it back a bit, drilled holes to put 3 shaker pegs in it and painted 'primitive gathering' on it. All inspired from your photos. Looking forward to seeing more pics and hearing from you again. Cheers Connie.

Can't get much prim stuff here in Australia, but you show me there's hope if I can make it myself.
