You're welcome, ninibini1. I agree, bad light at noon for photos in the central valley, but sunset to dusk is fascinating if you look long enough. Really beautiful. I saw that light every night in the summers growing up in Central Valley of CA so I fell in love with it. Alas, but your trip is done. I'm grateful for the photos you did take. Thank you so much.

Thanks for your nice comments on my pictures. Regarding the Central valley ones - unfortunately we didn't spent so much time in the central valley. We drove almost directly from Los Gatos to Yosemite, and on the way back towards the wine country. Although I saw lots of those impressive farm land with rows after rows of peach, cherry, apple, walnut etc. trees, the times we stopped it was either around noon (bad light) or early evening (too little light), so only a few photos were the result.
