Dear Leyla, I understand totally..as my flowers coem from the grocery store floral corner..we have no blooming flowers in hot desert..or I buy a bunch of flower, bring it home and try to set up a desk studio..not always works..as part o f my pictures on the walls or part of my TV is always hanging in it..I just say...I live under very restrictive conditions and land...teh love of this group makes me TRY to please you at least with tying.. Hi Leyla - haven't seen you around WS for awhile and I hope all is well. I know summer can get very hectic! But I wanted to share this information - I've entered the National Geographic photo contest with eight of my shots and am letting my WS friends know. I'll give you a link to four I believe you can search for others), and would appreciate it if you could take a look. There is a people's choice award, based on voting by the public, as well as the judges' selections. The cougar shot seems to be my top vote-getter so far although perhaps not the best photo. The two cats playing are next - they're my Manx rescues, Gollum and Aragorn. That shot was here on WS and recently won a best-in-show at a local photo exhibition contest. The hummingbirds are from my garden. But the NG competition is huge, with thousands of entries, so mine will get lost in the crowd. I just figured I might as well try, to see if people like my work. Dear leyla. They say in our places that the appetite is coming with the food......The ottomans siege Viena in austria, after they conquest already Hungry. But this was in a way a mistake, as the Ottomns lines and distance of supplies where to long. The Austrians got help from Sovietsky the king of Polen. This king came to austria with his army and stood on Kalenberg mount looking down to Viena city walls. The king came with his army from the mountain and attack the Ottoman army that was around Viena city walls and defeat the Ottomans. This defeat, was the begining of the cramp of the Ottoman empire, that made at the end ( after W W I ) Tukey to be in here present borders.
