I'm about lights and shadow, I guess, trying to merge natural and artificial light, bending light floods and distorting reflections. I want to show darkness at noon, contradiction, ambiguity, uncertainty, elusiveness. Man, do I sound pompous.

- I devoted the first what, twenty years of my professional life to journalism, mainly written, mainly in newspapers and magazines, mainly in Spanish. These days, I go through life as an information architect.

- two two-century old schools both located in the end of the world. No, really.

- A wonderful flaky Chilean bread, steaming right out of the oven, with pureed avocado spread on top. It feels as good as mortal sin. Others: Very berry gazpacho, tuna and watermelon tartare.
