I use Photomatix Pro 3 tone mapping, Photoshop Elements for color/level correctons, cropping/horizon straightening and blemish removal, and the Orton Effect when I can. This combination; however, doesn't always work with every photograph. I feel the Photomatix program has really upped my game and highly recommend it. If you have any questions concerning any of the above, please let me know. I am a disabled veteran with some limitations on my physical abilities; however, I LOVE nothing better than to get out in the country with my camera. I can no longer get out there on the hiking trails by myself, so I'm always looking for a photo safari companion as well as a safety net. Update - had first operation had nerve block put in my spine to kill pain in my back and left leg- this may last 1 day or 3 weeks - it seems to be working now - i still have to have big operation in 2 weeks or sooner if this block doses not work on my spine at the L4 location - i hope it works - well keep you updated - your friend brian

Thank you for your kind comment - I understand unexpected. The beach quickly became deserted and I had the beach all to myself to shoot. I was surprised as well. I quickly found out and dismissed a hasty departure. The climb down and prospect of having to climb back up, made it easy to decide to stay.
