Dear Kam-ming, thank you for your promptness in replying. I still marvel at that large Buddha and the time it would have taken to build, there are so many hidden treasures in China for the world to see and it is good that you are able to show me some of them. I had a young Chinese couple as neighbours for 12 months, they bought the house and then one had a baby, his name is Kevin and his Dad was delighted with him. They have moved onto something closer to transport I think. When I was in Hong Kong, I stayed at the Royal Gardens Hotel on the waterfront and also at the Hyatt not so far away, loved shopping along Nathan Road, well I must say all the shopping was good. We had a visit to the floating restaurant and enjoyed a beautiful meal. I have so many wonderful memories of the two trips I took with each of my girls. I live in Victoria, Australia where all the fires were recently but not close enough for them to be a bother to me. Will have to say goodnight now as I have to take a friend to the hospital, she is to have a short stay. Have a good week-end Kam-ming. Hugs, Shirley

Thank YOU for posting all those awesome pictures! They kept me entertained here at the hotel I work at. Working on a Sun. night, all by myself can get quite boring, but looking at the BEAUTY here on webshots keeps me from falling asleep and gives me a chance to virtually travel! There's so many places I WISH I could go to, but I know in my heart of hearts I'll never be able to afford to go to....so I rely on others pictures.
