Telephoto?! Nah! Ok...I confess...I was terrified that thing would come off the tracks and eat me! I did use the that little 24-120 I got...I love trains. I don't know why I have such a fear of them in motion!

Hi there, I am amazed by the photos in the "mother nature in monochrome". They are fantastic. May I ask, did you that them in monochrome or in color before converting them into monochrome? if so what technique do you use for the conversion? I would like to learn from you. Cheers. Chris

Hi Kate! Thank you for your comments on my "Pharaoh statue at a sunset, Egypt" POTD! It was a great surprise to find my second POTD so thanks again for backing me! I was on a business trip to Penza - it is 600 km away from Moscow at that time! This statue is 15 years old and stands near the entrance to the Domina Coral Bay Hotel at Sharm El Sheikh! Hey, girl! Thank you...you are up EARLY! Another jaunt to the mountains, or some garden? Yep, that was a bird! Someone told me that I can get a special permit to go inside the monument, but I don't know that I want to go that far...I only have two weekends in the UK the next time I go....there's bunch of friends from WS that I want to see.
