  • Pumpkin loves to be groomed so I doubt he will ever need to be shaved....I HOPE!!! We do need to clip his fur back again. His mane is growing in very thick. Give Sage a nice treat for me for being such a good boy. :)

  • Hi again. Just got my weekly summary and found the message about your Maine Coon.Didn't know you had one -love them! Usually get email alerts but not this time. I'm sure she (he?) misses sleeping with mommy. We gave Pum his first trim earlier this summer and need to do so again, especially around the 'privates' to keep him clean. I try to catch him when he leaves the litter box to see if he needs cleaning up. Keeping his 'fur pants' trimmed really helps a lot.

  • Hi, I am so pleased that you came by and left some generous comments on my album "Something More" the effect you were inquiring about was to the best of my memory - soft plastic. sometimes I used 2 or more things on a picture to get the effect I want, pretty sure it was soft plastic. Thank you and have a good day, Shirley

  • Hi Shirley; Yes, for at least a year or more, I have not gotten emails when people leave messages on my photos. I usually see the messages when my summary is posted on Thursday or sometimes Friday. Thank you for all of your thoughtful comments. I do appreciate them, even if I don't respond. I will be looking soon to see where they are. Just got home from Madison's horse show and that was a three hour drive each way. Sigh... so good to be home. :~) Hugs, Marjie

  • Glad you like the orchid pics and thanks for the kind comments. Even after all these years of growing orchids, every bloom is like a present and I'm like a kid on Christmas Eve waiting for morning. Just can't wait to see them open. As to the 'touch,' I'd trade it for your talent in a heartbeat! If it wasn't for photography, I'd be a complete washout in the art department.

  • Shirley, your comments always make me smile. You can believe that I am indeed 'always in Pumpkin's face.' He is such an adorable, precious boy I can't keep my hands of him. Fortunately, he loves being cuddled and kissed, so I get my fill. Thanks much for stopping by. Hugs, Enid

  • Hi Shirley: Forgot to ask how you got a faceful of poison ivy? Been bending into it too close for a photograph perhaps? LOL. That must be really awful! Hope it goes away soon!

  • Hi Shirley: Since you are active on Flickr, have you heard or seen anything from Susan? Just wondering how she is doing and if her cancer is in remission? Does she still upload to her site there? I am a member of Flickr, but haven't uploaded a thing so I rarely go there for anything. Is your name on the site there the same as it is in WS?

  • Hi Joe and Shirley: Just stopping in to say "hi" and see how you are doing. It's been a long time since I've looked at anyone's work on here but every now and then I pop in to see how people are doing that I used to keep in regular touch with. . .two of those people being you guys! I just looked at your latest apophysis album and still don't know how you do those things! I'll leave all those up to the experts. . .I'm still just jazzing up pictures that I take of everyday things! :-) . I too don't get comments left on my pictures or message page any more by WS. What's up with that? Hope this finds you two doing well. I'm active on RedBubble so don't really do much on WS anymore. Hope at some point you see this message. Sandy

  • Hi Mr Clark. I like the King of hearts photo and I would like to use it on the cover of my cd. Is it for sale or is there any other way that I can use it with your kind permission? Thx

  • Thank you for the nicest compliment. Had I had a teacher like you, I would have gone on to do my Ph.D in English literature!

  • Shirley, your comments about Pumpkin always make me smile. I finally captured a couple of his more elusive expressions and just had to share them with his WS buddies. Can hardly believe that he will be 3 next month. My little boy is growing up too fast! Cheers!Enid

  • Hi Shirley, Many thanks for the kind constructive messages re my images. I have not had a lot of time the last few months to do any work as I had a very ill husband to look after.Unfortunately he just did not make Christmas last year.Eight years of melanoma cancer was a lot to go through. Anyhow I am slowly getting back to being able to indulge myself with my art work. There is so much I want to do. I am experimenting with Apophysis at the moment, trying to produce my own flames. The Chaoscope shading is easy. I just mask the object, pick two colors from the object and fill the background. I like the 'solid' renditions of Chaoscope and change my colors either before or after I have rendered them. Look forward to seeing more of your work soon. Cheers Alla
