Hi Steve, the slot canyon you were asking about is Dry Fork. It is located about 27 miles south of Highway 12 on the road to hole in the rock just east of Escalante. Escalante is east of Bryce Canyon by about 40 miles. There are two other slot canyons near Dry Fork, Peekaboo and Spooky. I tried to get in to Peekaboo but I would have had to walk through a pool and then clim a Navaho sandstone ledge that was about fifteen feet high. I didn't want to chance damaging my camera equipment by falling into the pool. Spooky is a very tight slot canyon. I was surprised to learn that there are more slot canyons in Utah than any other State and when Cindy and I started to look for them we were fining them all over. Thanks for the comments. Norm

Steve, LaCaille Gardens is located by the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon in Salt Lake CIty..It is a french owned family business including a winery, restaurant, much beautiful landscape with rare animals running free over the land, such as deer, rabbits, turkeys, ducks, geese, swans, pheasant.. well you get the idea..quite pricy to eat at the restaurant ,.but a 5 star place to go..very exotic.

Hi Steve and Linda, Thanks for you comment about the cowboy camp. I see that we enjoy the same sites. I like your profile photo at Yellowstone. I see you use a Nikon D70, that's the camera I use. I really don't know much about cameras but the D70 gets the job done. Now I wish I had a better lenses.
