Hello Ray,,,, First of all, thank you very much for the kind words on my Adirondack album. It has been ages sense I have done anything with webshots. I did have a great time with my trip up there. We didnt quite make it to Ausable Chasms but we did stay in Lake Placid the first night and went up to Wilmington before heading south and then back west. I wish i had had more time but I made do with what I had. My Sony A300 DSLR was a late Christmas present to my self in the beginning of the year. I still have lots to learn with it but I am having fun doing it. I never did make it to the falls near Watkins Glen this past spring like I wanted but I have certainly found enough others to visit sense then. I have added a lot to my Flickr album also. I have been using that site a bit more because Webshots and my ancient dialup dont always agree with each other. Ray, I participated enough to take the pictures. We drove down each day. Stayed for about an hour taking pics and then came home. It gets really crazy so we stay home most of River Run weekend.

Hi Ray,,, You asked me to let you know when I added a new album so I am letting you know. I have done two waterfall trips in the past week and a half and did some major hiking to get some of the shots. For some reason I could not find my way to Clark Gully. I was at the lower falls and drove up to do the upper falls. After walking downhill for close to an hour and loosing the trail a couple of times I admitted defeat and went back up. I could not find my way down to that creek bed even though I could see and hear it almost the whole time. I am not sure where I went wrong but I got tired and wore myself out. What a bummer. Someday maybe I can try it again with someonw whos been there. Christy

Hi there Ray! I hope you're doing well. Thanks for the comments in my 3 a week album. I took the shot of the beautiful old home in Water View, KY. There is a church, an empty general store and a gas station there. The general store photo I added to my album this week was taken on past a town called Marrowbone, KY. It's much larger than Water View, but it has seen it's better days. I believe there was a Civil War battle at Marrowbone - but don't quote me. Have a great day! Kris :)

Ray, My wife and I have enjoyed your beautiful pictures of every description. For years I tried to use a Cannon AE-1 but have met with little success; never could get the hang of it. So I have resorted to Kodak throwaway cameras for years, which for the most part have been ok. But now with the availability of digital cameras am interested to use one in conjuction with the computer. Would you please recommend a digital camera that is not to complicated to operate, we are seniors, I am 70 years old. Thankyou, Sailorman87

Hi Ray, We were friends before on my Velcrogirl site ... but I've pretty much closed that site down. I had wanted to tell you about that low cloud shot ... it was so unusual to me because it's below sea level there ... which makes the low clouds more unusual. I've rarely seen them that low ... I had the feeling I could almost reach out and touch them. *hugs*
