Dear Tiger, Thank you for your apology, it is accepted sincerely. It was a poor choice of communication. I have been into R/B and wasn't overly impressed. Not to say that I will not do so again but I would never say they were better in any way after all most of the members probably started on W/S or some other such site before the bubble burst with poor taste by the owners of W/S that sent members scurrying for greener pastures. I think you have to admit that a lot who went there did so with $ signs in their eyes hoping to sell their work. Those of us who remain & the new ones that have joined are all sincere in their admiration for each others work be it good or bad for what good does it do to put someone down. It is degrading to start with & does no-one any good. When asked by anyone to tell them what I think I tell the truth without trying to hurt them, I would rather not say anything to upset someone who is doing their best for isn't that all we can ever do... Hi Tiger. Thanks for your comment on the album from Tombstone I have posted so far. Yes, like you, I found the place over-commercialized, but I did enjoy the trip overall. From there we went on to the Chiricahua Mountains, and that was exciting. Still haven't had time to get that one down-sized and uploaded yet. I may have as much as another 20 albums to go! Thank you so much Tiger, it is never easy for anyone when they lose a loved pet of 14 years, Ed and I were a team and it was made all the harder because I had been in hospital for 12 days in July and he was in the house all that time alone, I had a friend come in 3 times a day and take him out and feed him and dear little man didn't make one mistake. Pneumonia took a lot out of me as I had it for about 2 months, but have all healed now. Coming on top of that losing Eddie was like a ton of bricks hitting me. Many kind words have been spoken and posted by people I have never met but each and every one of them has been a small blessing to me. I thank you so much dear Friend...Hugs, Shirley

Hi Tiger, What a lovely surprise to have you come by and your generous comment on "Shades of Blue", it would be nice if your words came true Tiger, just keep trying like the most of us. That album started out from where I used to live with the scene of Williamstown and having a lot of blue pictures I shoved them all into an album and so it came to be. Spent some time in Hospital in July and took some time to get myself together and then my little Edward died, so I felt lost for some time feel that the friends at W/S helped me, it would be nice if Susan called by, I am always here. Hi Tiger, just another thank you for the dedication album of the Car Show and to comment on your HDR skills. I’m unsure if you processed all of them or just some of them using HDR (or none at all). However, I believe at least a couple were HDR photos, which goes to show how good you have gotten with the HDR process. Hi Terry, I'm sure both you and Susan would enjoy a revisit to Niagara Falls and would enjoy all the great views for fine photos. If and when you plan to visit check their site to see when they are presenting the evening fireworks display and plan around it, you won't be sorry. My "Razzle Dazzle" album is my first attempt at fireworks, and I was pleased with the outcome for a novice...Jules

Tiger, Thank you for your input about composition and cropping. I have wondered about quality degradation in cropping, or even if it is a factor. May seem silly to mention that, but I really don't know. I feel I'm just starting on a journey that I know is going to be a thrill. And it's nice to be able to share that with others and receive their input. I value it so much. It wasn't long before I noticed one of my first repeated mistakes, something I keep telling myself. Watch your horizon! I haven't made up my mind yet but I'm leaning towards a Canon EOS-50D. Probably will be several months before I make up my mind, and to save up. Thanks again, Steve.

Hi Tiger. Thank you so much for your kind comment on my vanishing point challenge photo. I was very surprised to make it into the top 10. The comments are really appreciated. Especially the one where you said it was your overall favorite among the top 10. :P Getting this shot was truly serendipity. On the last day of the convention I took a different escalator and entered a different part of the convention center, with different features. Because the conference was ending there were few people on the escalator so I could go up and down without having to shoot around people's heads. It was one of those situations where I knew I saw something special and I was just hoping I could do it justice. All the best to you. ~~Barbara
