Hi Rich, Thanks for visiting my HBO jump album and leaving great pro shot tips there. You are right about action speed at 800 minimum. Since this album, I have started venturing outside of aperture priority and into shutter speed priority. When action is fast, I have even locked the speed over 1000 and let the camera decide on the aperture. I really appreciate your visit and I'm learning, man! I am starting to enjoy this new found hobby. Have a great day, Ding
Thanks for the nice comments on my rodeo shots. I've just been looking at your great photos.
I would love a D3, but it might have to wait a while.

Hey Thanks for the heads up on a great action camera. I have gotten to the point where I just use my little runner guy speed on all of my shots anymore..even inside houses where I photo for my real estate job! Heck, I like my old Canon Rebel better than my newer Rebel XTi for fast speed! One day I'll get a super nice camera that is for sure! Thanks for the tip!!! Stace
If you ever do any rodeo work in Albuquerque or near by there please let me know - would love to see you in action - I'm in awh of your action shots. Loree
Hi Rich,
Your camera got my attention since I just bought a D2XS. Your shots are really good and I want to practice on action shots. There are rodeo actions East of me in El Cajon, CA. I plan on attending so I can take live rodeo shots too. That should be fun. I can use some or rather, a lot of pro tips on camera settings. I live in the North County of SD.
Have a great day,
Ding

Do you have any other rodeos that aren't shown. I am looking for Scottsdale Rodeo.
