    • Hi i was looking through your album, I am attempting a similar repair. How did you disconnect the door lock mechanism from the door handle mechanism. I've already taken out the three screws the hold the device in place. Its extremely hard for me to reach the where the door lock is still connected to the door device. Can the metal frame be taken apart further. -thx

    • Sorry I missed your messages. No special tools needed and I think I may have had to pry it a bit, but amke sure you have ALL the bolts off before going to town on it. Some are HIDDEN!

    • Hey, once you had all of the bolts, and coils removed, did your Valve Cover simply "pop" off, or did you really have to pry at it to get it come loose?

    • BMW X5 3.0 Valve Cover Gasket, I have a 2002 X5 3.0. Did you need an special tools to change the valve cover gasket? Mine is leaking. Great photos you posted. Thanks
