Hello Robert! Shanghai is a beautiful border collie!! I want to buy a border collie but I have a labrador,pitbull,english pointer,teckel,blue heeler ,australian shepherd, basset hound, dalmatian and doberman. I don't know with the border collie will adapt with my dogs. Does Shanghai has had some contact with other dogs the same breed as mine? Thank you !!! Regards, Gabriela.

HI, thanks for your message, I have your pics on all my computers and everyone loves them. Actually after I downloaded your's I decided to share some of mine, my first contribution! I love my life,(BOY did it change) with my BC, he is indeed a gift from God & my previous 16 year old adopted shep/collie mix, My "Girl". I believe she knew when to leave this world, so that I could find Tucker and save his life from Parvo at 14 wks old. Yes you can adopt a pure breed BC from a shelter & sometimes, the result is a Border Collie with a BIG heart and a love of everyone and everything! He truly amazes me! Keep contributing to the world with BC puppies of A+ quality! I will never be a couch potato with Tucker around, and now I am addicted to Border Collies for life!

Hello! It's been far too long since I've visited your lovely albums. I love the new pictures of all the beautiful pups! We have a Border Collie mix named Dottie who is 4 years old. She has been diagnosed with "fever of unknown origin" and a possible auto-immune disease after two months of extensive tests. Have you ever had any of your dogs have fever spikes, dehydration and lethargy that comes and goes? I was wondering since it's a daily struggle to keep Dottie's health up. Many thanks! Tibby
