Greetings from Corvallis. It appears we like to take photos of the same places and same things. Please visit my albums (Randyincv) my wife's albums (Carolincv) and our Friend Shirley's Albums (Home_Base) We were just up on Mary's peak last week and got some great images. I'll be looking through your albums here too. Very nice work!
As of January 8th I will be living in Florida. You can see some of my pics of the Everglades and other areas. I was there in Sept. 07 to take care of my dad. He was diagnosed with cancer and although it was removed, the cancer has returned and this time, I'm moving there to take care of him.
I won't have much time for traveling or photography but I will do what I can. I want to thank you all for your comments over the years and for your prayers concerning my family when asked.
May G-d bless you all in the coming year!

AND TO CARVE YOUR BLESSINGS IN STONE.<<<<
I've created several more albums and added many new images to others for a frsh new look. These range in resolution from 1024x765 or better.
Enjoy!
Reuven
As promised, my new pics will be up in the coming weeks and you'll see a lot of new pics but in new albums with old names. What I've done is basically, compeletely retouch all the photos that were here, ditched the ones I no longer wanted here and, added brand new albums....this is an on-going process so, I will be adding new images as I complete them. Checking back often will be the best way to know if I've added anything AND, I'm using a higher res than usual!
I just wrote you a note on your Silverton album, i called you Paul, for that i do apolagise.I am very proud to have you as a friend.Reuven, thanks for your comments.also upgradeing my camera this fall. maby get some good shots for a change, love your oregon albums. Don from Oregon.
As promised, the new album is up and loaded with new images of the MacDonald-Dunn Research Forest and the surrounding area. - - Having spent the last year or more hiking and taking photos in this area was exhilerating not to mention the fact that by doing it, I've lost over 100lbs in 18 months. (I'm a Diabetic and I take care of myself as well as possible.) - - I'll be in Florida for the upcoming week so, expect some images when I return! The Everglades are calling my name! lol
Well....Spring came and went...Summer rolled in and I've been keeping busy taking photos rather than editing and working on the new images. The new images are however, coming and they will replace some of the albums here. I expect to have this complete before September 10th.
Till then, enjoy the photos here while I visit your albums too!
I wanted to let you all know I am working on a set of new galleries for the Spring. Winters in the Pacific Northwest, especially in the lower elevations, leave many of us pining for the rays of the sun and the majestic hues of nature.
I sent you an email today, Lynda.
Thank you so much for your comments. I am touched that you want to use my pics for your painting. I'd love to see one after you've finished it.
Hi there Reuven65, I posted a note to you yesterday, but i don't see it here. So i will try again, this is Summer5055 from your friends list. I am trilled again to see some more of your work here, I am an artist and paint mountain scenes, with waterfalls and lake or streams, i do some ocean ones as well, but mostly mountain and forest ones as they are my favourites, with all the postings here i know that you can't keep up with all of them. I downloaded your snow pix's in Dec 06, and sent you a message on them. Here again is my email address lynda_brian_13@rogers.com . thanks for adding me to your friends list, and if you have any pix that you may think that i could use to do a painting, please feel free to email it to me, if you can, thanks, and wishing you all the best, your friend Lynda here in Toronto Canada.
Judy, you need not be intimidated whatsoever. So long as you enjoy what you're doing that's what counts. We all start at the beginning and refine our skills over time.
Thank you so much for offering to be friends. I have listed you as a friend. Right now my sight does not have much to offer, but I will be up loading in the next few months. After looking at the beautiful work by the community, I am a little intimidated. Judy
You are definitely familiar with the area, that's for sure. I've been here 15 years after living in TN and being born and raised in New York City.
Thanks for your prayers.
:-)
Hi again, Yes I lived in Lebanon. My Daughter still lives there. I moved from Brownsville OR to Lebanon OR in 1974...moved to WA in 1997. Visit every chance I get. I have also lived in Redmond OR. So I know Santiam Pass and Hoo Doo Ski Bowl. Love the whole area, all through the Cascades...Live near Mt Rainier now.
My prayers to you & your wife. Happy to hear she is doing better.
I've added some new images to the In and Around The Willamette Valley album. I haven't been able to work on many of my newer images due to various things that have come up but for now, enjoy the new additions to this updated album.....
I am extremely grateful for the wonderful comments posted here and in my various albums.
Let me explain my absence from commenting and visiting other sites....During the first week of December I nearly lost my wife to a very serious infection. The doctor and surgeon both told us she was 30-36 hours away from actually dying.
She is doing AWESOME now....though not out of the woods yet. I am a father of two teenage daughters, owner of my own business and quite busy teaching others about my faith.
It is life that has kept my from coming here and from visiting your own albums. Time is slowly becoming my own again and thus, I will make the time for all of you.
Thank you all again, for your comments, compliments and replies.
Your albums are fascinating ~~ very professional, would be an understatement. I am definately a novice and just now learning my way around the Webshots community and new to photography, but I live in a lovely area which allows me to enjoy my love for wildlife and the general beauty of life and my surroundings. You also are blessed to live in the area which you do, it looks like paradise! Don't judge me too harshly on my photos yet, I am jst now getting started.
Hello. After viewing and commenting on your POTD yesterday, I decided to view your other albums. I like them all and am really fond of the Oregon Coast album. When I was on your homepage, I noticed in your profile that you attended Stony Brook University. So did I!! Small world!! Joan, Long Island, NY
I think I fixed it so that people can leave messages now. I didn't realize it was on OPTIONS to allow for the peple you choose who can or cannot post.
I've made it so that all visitors can post...which is how I thought I had it. Now at least I know why no one was ever commenting!
LOL
I have been looking at your beautiful album but for some crazy reason no one can post a message there, which is very disappointing because you should have tons of messages by now. Your shots are beautiful. Love the snow captures. If you want to answer me answer on my message board because chances are I won't come back to your message and probably Maxcats hasn't either. Anyhow congratulations on POTD. This webshots is a learning process. POTD - photo of the day. Lead in shot. Never knew what that meant until recently. That means the first one in your album and so put the best one up front, etc. etc. Thanks for sharing..........Marion in Nanaimo, BC
