Dear Ramesh, Hello again. If you recall, I had contacted you about a year ago, during the 2008 Tirupathi Brahmotsavam, to look & admire & download some of your fabulous photo's. You had kindly agreed. I have the same request now, during the 2009 Brahmotsavam. May I scan some of your albums and download a photo or two, for strictly personal viewing. In particular, I am seeking some photographs of the 2008 Mohini Vahanam procession. Do you have any? If yes, could you please post some? Many many thanks and warm regards, Greg

Dear all, The temple town of Tirumala, known to Hindu devotees as Kaliyuga Vaikuntam, is the abode of Lord Sri Venkateswara (popularly also known as Balaaji and Srinivasa). Daily over 50,000 pilgrims visit this temple and on special days, there is an inflow of over 500,000 devotees each day. This temple is the richest temple in the world. Being a Hindu, I am fortunate to be at this place and am more than fortunate to cover most of the events that take place at Tirumala. These religious events are carried out with precision planning and execution, utomost dedication and reverence, and with a lot of color and pomp. I tried to capture the moods, colors and the various facets of these most-important-events at Tirumala. With this background, I wish you would be able to appreciate the contents of each of my over 50 albums with over 4,200 photos and videos. Further clarifications, can be had from me at rameshbabu.n@sbi.co.in You can also forward this link to all your friends and relatives who are interested in knowing about Tirumala. Every Indian friend of yours shall be too glad to receive these links. With best regards. Ramesh Babu Naraparaju / Tirupati / India / +919866228150

Dear Ramesh Babu My hearty appreciation to your excellent work of Lord's Sevas. I also received quite a few mails from you on my mail ID kajasb at yahoo informing of your latest additions. I think you have presented to the public one of the most extensive image collection of Tirumala Utsavas. I work actively in Telugu Wikipedia. http://te.wikipedia.org/wiki/ And your photos are natural choice for articles related to Tirumala. Mr. Vimal Kalyan has already uploaded many of your images to English Wiki. However, I can not use them directly because they are not exactly GFDL or Public Domain. You have permitted for free Use of pictyres, "but with reverance". I fully respect your condition, and will upload them again to Telugu Wikipedia with the same condition if you permit me for that. You may reply to kajasb at either yahoo or gmail I hope my request is reasonable. Thanks - K S BABU

Ramesh - please note that i have already started uploading a lot of your snaps on wikipedia. see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Tirumala_Venkateswara_Temple Also, i plan to add more of your snaps. Apart from adding to Wikipedia, i am downloading the snaps to enjoy the darshan of the lord. I am very grateful to you for giving me and a lot of us, the pleasure of having the lord's darsha btw, strange coincidence - i use a Fujifilm s5000 ... and i think the s5500 is an upgrade over the earlier s5000. it is a pleasure and i have clicked more than 4500 snaps using the camera. i shall upload some of these in the coming weeks, some of them are of tirumala.

Dear Kalyan (and others too....), You are FREE to see, download, copy and distribute these snaps, provided that they are used only for spreading the beauty and grandeur of Tirumala Hills. You should use these snaps with reverence, with respects to our Hindu religion, our God Sri Venkataachalapathi and strictly ensuring that you use these NOT for any illegal activities. All I want is that these `pious' photos should be used for `pious' purposes only. You may use them in your blog or in public domain places like wikipedia (I think these snaps are already being used in wikipedia, with links to my photos site already available there).
