Hi ragtime Bob
This is the lady whose parents lived on Devil's Island.
I really don't know much about that time. It was my Dad's youngest sister who reminded me that my parent's lived there shortly after their marriage.
Seems you are quite the expert on Southern Ill history. Here is a tidbit for you, my grandfather died in an accident while working on the Cairo traffic bridge. I have a copy of the newspaper article from the day after he passed away.
I am currently looking for any info on my grandfather. My mother was only 4 years old when he died. We have no pictures of him. We only know he was an Irish orphan. Who may have been on the Orphan Trains. Being a historian, I am sure you know about the Orphan Trains?
Anyway, back to my parents and your pictures. I loved your pictures, especially of the old car. I could imagine that this was my father's car.
I would love to talk more, but at this time I don't have much info. Dad wrote a short autobiography at one time. I had a copy, but seem to have lost it. I am trying to locate a copy among my remaining brothers and sisters. There were 10 of us, five boys and five girls.
My regular email is gfann002@charter.net.

Hey Bob! Do you have information on the Illini Indians that were around the Kaskaskia, ILL area. I have been trying to find the Chief of that tribe. He had two daughters and their last name was Accica. Do you have any informaion on them?
I am looking for family names, pictures and anything of that area in the early 1700's
Thanks
LaVerna03
Hey Bob! How's it going? It's Beth from the Digital Days workshop. It's been awhile. Wow, the pics are great. Looks like my backyard.lol. I thought I was going to need a canoe the other day. I am so looking forward to "more" rain as the weatherman says. We may need to start on an ark. hehe. It's been some year for weather. I got pics of the tordado that came through Arlington on Feb 5th. I am ready for hot and dry weather so I can be a slave to the garden and not the Memphis City Schools. Anyway.... hope all is great with you.
