Pete,
You totally blew my mind w/your dedication to me, WOW. Thank-you from the bottom of my heart. That was the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me.
I'm sooooo very sorry that it has taken me this long to get back to you. My computer has crashed a few times & also my health has played a big part in the delay.
Now, hopefully w/the computer back up & the fact that I'm feeling somewhat better than I did, I can clear out some pictures from my Webshots site & add all of the ones you dedicated to me. I just took a glance @ all of them & I'm VERY VERY impressed, (as usual). YOU DO SUCH AWESOME WORK :):):):):):)
They are going to look sooooo cool
cycling over & over on my computer screen..
CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THEM DOING THAT.
I would love to take you up on your offer about discussing Digital Art.
At this point in time though, the only thing I know about it, is how much I love it (thanks to you). Yours is sooooooo far BEYOND awesome. It is such a pleasure having your work on my computer,& a joy to look at. Thank-you.
Would it be possible to do a 'one man' art show w/your work, like they do w/paintings? Just a thought, not sure if it can actually be done, but I think it would be cool if you could. Maybe even sell some... & make some money??????????
Best wishes always,
Hi Pete~ I wanted to thank you for visiting my "Creative Fun 2009" album and for the nice comment. I am sorry it took me so long to come and thank you but I have been dealing with health issues and such. Hearing from you is always nice so I hope to again. Kind Regards, Peechez (Have a wonderful weekend!)
Hi Pete, thank-you for your Message on my Feature in Digital Art, I appreciate your support. I have just arrived home after 2 weeks in Hospital and I am very slowly catching up. It's good to be Home! .. .. warm wishes, Helen xx
Hi Pete, Thanks for checking out my "Music To My Eyes" album, I had a hunch you'd appreciate that one, thanks for the comment! I think you might like some of my other digital art albums, hope you get a chance to stop back and check them out! As usual, I'm digging your creations and frequently add to my wallpapers, thanks!
Pete I have been wanting to do digital art but when I saw your's, wow there super. Could you give some advice on getting started. I would appericate it,
Mikey
Hey Pete, Yeah, that shot of the moon was a real learning experience for me, I really didn't expect it to be a difficult shot until I started shooting it, ha-ha, that's when the fun began! I spent a few hours or more going out on the porch and taking shots (tripod was used of course) and then coming back inside and loading them up on the computer to see how they turned out (a lot of that time was spent waiting for breaks in the clouds also), it took a while but I finally got the shot you saw. My wife thinks I'm crazy! I don't understand why, LOL. Thanks - Kirk
Hello my friend
Just a note to let you know that I will be leaving Webshots shortly. I will be putting all my efforts into Redbubble.com and my own homepage artofkira.dk - I hope to see you there.
Thank you for all your encouragement and support - it has been greatly appreciated.
Best wishes - Kira
Hello Pete, Are you alright then? As I visit for the millionth time I am still amazed. Great work. Have you ever done anything in negative? (Kind of an obscure mirror-plane of existence question.) Have a great year, we'll be watching for new work.
Hi Friend,
I finally made it back safely to Louisville from Ohio on Sunday evening and met my family at the Days Inn where my wife had found a room as we were still without power. That night the interior temp was 19 degrees and falling in the house when we came over to get Rocky our dog. He was in the garage in his doghouse staying comfy but I didn’t want to take any chances with the outdoor temp expected to go below zero that night, which it did. (Maxwell was staying with family friends that had room for him.) The weather has since warmed up enough and the Sun graced us with its appearance a number of days to help get the snow melted on the streets and the Electric Co. was able to get back to our area and repair all of the downed lines and replace a couple transformers that had exploded. We were finally able to come home yesterday, Feb. the 4th, My Birthday! What a great gift that was, able to sleep in my own bed, woohoo!
I will soon be posting some photos that Chris (now five) and I were able to take. He was here in Louisville taking photos of the ice storm damage and I was in Ohio taking a few photos while waiting for the roads to thaw out enough so I could make a run for the border, LOL. I do hate the fact that I was in the wrong place at the wrong time and missed some fantastic photo opportunities according to my wife, but there will be others. I’m just thankful that my family and I were kept safe and although we have lost a lot of material possessions and incurred some unexpected financial burdens we are all together and have a roof over our head.
Blessing to all my WS friends - Kirk
OMG Pete !!! ... please accept my good wishes for a speedy recovery ... I understand exactly how you are feeling. I was afflicted in my early 20's and it's 'not very nice' ... as my son would say. I hope 2009 brings more pleasant experiences .... take care, talk soon, Helen xx
Seasons Greetings,Pete. I have enjoyed our WS friendship in 2008 and thank you for all your kind and encouraging comments . I hope the year ahead will be filled with happiness and laughter, good food , family and friends. Best Wishes from Sue
