Very many thanks, Bev and Del, for looking at and commenting on the album of Betty's life. It just seemed a shame that all these great old photos were just lying unlooked at in the bottom of an old box and that was when the idea was born to try scanning them into an album. I hadn't intended putting them on line but someone mentioned something to me that sort of triggered it! I am so very glad that you both enjoyed it. Hugs, Peter

Regarding the bottle... when I had the ground in the back yard plowed up for a garden (when I first moved here), that's where the bottle was found (it had been buried)... Dear Bev, thanks a lot for visiting my latest album. It was our first holiday together with Lasse (Lasse was 12 months young that time). The place we stayed is about 1100km away from our hometown. It was a 13 hours car ride (and Lasse was so good). When we arrived it was bitterly cold (1°C) and as you saw on some pictures it snowed in June! I was so disappointed that I wanted to return home. We did not bring any winter clothes with us. After the 3rd day the weather turned completely and we had up to 30°C. By the way, do you also have ALDI supermarkets in Australia? German culture in down under? "Little Germany" seems to be everywhere. It's such a pity that you live soo terribly far away from us. It would be so nice to meet each other for a walk together with Benn, Jorja, Lasse and Lina. Our 4 legged friends would have so much fun together! Golden Hugs to all of you!!! Corinna and friends
