Hi oeste513! I lived and worked in Zimbabwe for a year in the mid-1990s and your photos brought me back there. I particularly like your Road to Tanzania (2). In fact, I wanted to ask your permission to use a horizontal cropping of it for the header of the home page of my website. I am a psychiatrist and author -- my first book was about my work in Africa -- and am beginning to promote my second book. Your photo really spoke to me and I think provides the kind of energy and emotion that I'd like to put out there. I like your photos because they look like paintings and seem to be telling stories like books. They've really got a particular, almost magical atmosphere that stimulates imagination. But I just hope that, in spite of all the compliments you receive, you will always try to do even better... In my opinion you could even make a book out of your work, you know. It is as inspiring as the work of a professional...

Thanks for your comment on my Bodie album the other day. When I visit that region I usually stay in Bridgeport or Lee Vining. Both are small towns with old and overpriced motels. But they are in the heart of great fishing and photography country. Thanks again, Brett
