Hi, Nurit! Sorry I didn't get to visit your newest album(s) yet! It's not that deciphering these codes makes it difficult (which it DOES), but have been going through a difficult period financially at the moment, so have been spending less time on WS. Now, that it's getting colder and I'll probably be swimming less often at Gordon Pool, I'll definitely have more free time. Hi Nurit, you got some wonderful polar bear pictures. It looks like you had a great trip. You were able to watch some behaviors that we didn't see in Svalbard. I may have to plan a trip to Churchill one of these days. I wonder what the truck driver was thinking with the bear that close to him. Let me know when you get the rest of your pictures uploaded. you certainly have some interesting travells. Mine are not so distant, but they are enjoyed, with my sweetie just the same.Been away most of the summer, then shortly after I got home, had a heart attack and a stent put in, and am doing fine. Now, in my rest time, I can catch up with all my WS friends albums I have been missing, including yours. Thanks for looking at one of mine.

Nurit, Greetings from Alaska & Thank You so much for your visit and kind comments on my POTD featured photo. I was surprised to find the announcement in my email and all of the comments are humbling. The Eagles are my favorite majestic bird. Eagles are loyal birds and mate for life so when you see a big pair it is almost always male & female occasionally it will be parent and offspring. It takes many long walks and hikes alone on very cold days to find a good shot, this picture was shot with 200mm telephoto on a winter day the temperature was -5 f. “cold fingers & toes” Again Thank You & best wishes from Alaska, Dave
