Dear Gail! I've just uploaded a new album called "Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year" that I made for my friends and all that has ever "stopped by". With it I want to thank you for your lovely comments this year and humbly apologize that I haven't really done so earlier. Yes, my face is red of shame ;) I sincerely hope you like it and I do wish that you and your entire family will have a Very Merry Christmas and a Terrific New Year. Hugs, Eva :)
Love your picture! I am looking for a camera that provides a good sports mode. What model are you using? Am currently considering either Panasonic Fx-30 or Sony W55.
Hello Gail so glad you like my unusual chrysanthemum in this weeks challenge. It is not exactly your run-of-the-mill type, and when I saw it I just HAD to take a shot. Have a gerat day...Fay
>"What sort of engineer are you?" - Mechanical Eng + Physics + Cryogenic Tech - now with Uni of NSW. All my life working at research labs - back in Russia and here, so I can do everything :) Cheers, Andrei
Thank you so much for your comments on my creative challange photos. It is always so nice when someone comments on your photo's. Your friend from South Louisiana, Irvin
Well Peter Jackson did have just the teensiest bit of computer assistance on some of that scenery. But yes, we do have a very beautiful country, and I have visited many of the places where the movies were shot. I too live in Dunedin. I've never been to North Carolina but I have spent some time in the USA
Hi, I noticed your question on the challenge, as far as I know its fine to use a shot you have so long as its not been featured, I use existing ones, the ones that have to be new are the weekend warrior ones, hope this helps, where in NZ are you situated?,take care Ann (UK)
Hi Gail! Don't you just love the Internet! We're on opposite sides of the world and chatting :-) We are 9 hours before WS time (eastcoast something) or 1 hour after GMT. Anyway, my favourites among your sunset/sunrise photos are (or....here is the result from the Swedish jury ;-)Just before dusk 27, Evening Clouds 6, Sundown 4 and Sunset 30. That's one too many I know but there you have it! Hope that helps! Take care, Anitha
In spite of the unsuccessful link I found your pictures.
