Unwillingly retired medical transcriptionist (software updates and voice recognition saw to that!)

I went to College at...

Tacoma Community College, Seattle Pacific College (before it grew up to be a university), and Wazzu! 20 years later it was Spokane Community College to learn medical transcription...I actually understand doctorese!

My favorite foods are...

Seafood...I see food and I want it.

Have recently finished Sherman Alexie's Indian Killer, also currently reading Tolkien's The Children of Húrin, edited by Christopher R. Tolkien, and Adams' Ultimate Hitchhiker collection (again).

Two dachshunds, three cats (the five of which are featured in albums here), and a bajillion tropical fish, mostly guppies. ...Well, not quite so many now that we've got the needlefish...

My dream vacations would be...

...ones I didn't have to take just because I was sick. Actually, now that I'm sort of retired (translation: unemployed), I guess I could say I'm on vacation. But now I can't afford to go anywhere...would love to visit family in Tacoma but...
