Greetings from Alaska & Thank You so much for your visit and kind comments on my POTD featured photo. I was surprised to find the announcement in my email and all of the comments are humbling. The Eagles are my favorite majestic bird. Eagles are loyal birds and mate for life so when you see a big pair it is almost always male & female occasionally it will be parent and offspring. It takes many long walks and hikes alone on very cold days to find a good shot, this picture was shot with 200mm telephoto on a winter day the temperature was -5 f. “cold fingers & toes” Again Thank You & best wishes from Alaska, Dave

Hello Mary. Brunei is only a very small country but they have packed so much into it. A vast contrast between the rich and the poor. I was in Hong Kong for a week, 4 days in Bangkok and a 4 day stopover in Brunei.The camera has not cooled yet. I've enough images to keep my busy for the next month.Bernard..( now back at work)
