Hi Lou..thanks :-)) Maybe this was right after 9\11 that the balloon tried to land? Might be why the cops got so worried. They can cause a lot of property damage or hit the electrical wires too, so it is dangerous. We had a lot land in yards here but luckily there was never damage. We live close to a place where there is a festival yearly and they launch from there year round..well not when it is snowing lol

Thank you Lou :-) I guess it doesn't get cold enough there for colour change? They say it isn't only frosts that do it,yet there is always a huge difference in colours after the first frost. Glad you like the song. I love Eva Cassidy's voice :-) xoxo

Glad you like my cinematic grasshopper lol He appears a few times along with a bee and a squirrel in that album. They are all camera hogs, the wildlife around here.. jumping out begging to be on film all the time. Lucky the flowers aren't so pushy lol xox

Hi Lou! You are an incredible minaturist...and a great solitaire player, too. I'm no where in your league in either category, but it's great to meet a fellow miniaturist. As I said on the solitairecraving website, I did my first 13+ room Victorian mansion years ago when I was living in California. When I moved back to Canada, I left the house with a friend of my as I was afraid it would be destroyed en route. A while ago, I took my 11 year old daughter to a show in Toronto, and she got hooked on miniatures, too. How long have you been doing miniatures? I passed 100,000 views today. What a thrill that was! I remember when I began posting photos a year ago last week, that seemed an completely unattainable number. Thank you, all my dear friends who take time from your busy lives, to look at my photos and especially to those who are kind enough to leave such supportive, cheerful and sometimes humourous comments! You put a smile on my face every morning and I am more motivated to try to get outdoors, to get better photos, than if you were not there wishing me well! You all inspire me in so many and different ways. I have learned so much from your suggestions and from observing your styles and tricks as well as being inspired by the way you live your lives. You all have a keen eye and fine talent for a great photo, but even better hearts! We all crave a feature or a POTD, but a charming word of praise from a webshots friend means even more to me, on a bad day. I appreciated your comments so much :) That is the place where I used to live..where the sunsets and the view of Montreal was magnificent..when I lived on my own.
