    • Hello my name is Laurence Cabana and I was looking on the internet for a photo of my father's family when I stumbled upon your page. I have a photo of the original photo of Wilfred Cabana lifting all those men on his back. My father was named for him and his father's name was Joseph Cabana and lived in the South End of Boston until his death. My brothers and I have been researching the Cabana family but would like to know more. If you could contact me and maybe we could speak I would like to find out some information or maybe I have some that you would like as the Boston Cabana's have never met the Canadian Cabana's and we are the last of them here. My email is soytodo2003@yahoo.com Thank you

    • Hello I am looking for a Roger Ducharme. He was born between 1956-1960. I am aware that the family had land near North Bay and thought maybe the best way to track him would be through genealogy sites. I understand he had many brothers and sisters, one may have even died in a fire. I believe the one who had died, his name may have been Aurel. They were French and Catholic. The mother or grandmother of Roger may have aboriginal decent. I see you have knowledge about the Ducharme family around North Bay and Vernen. Please if you have any information about how i may go about tracking this email me at alyssa.nielsen89@gmail.co m Thank you so very much for your time. Alyssa

    • Your research inspired me! I found my grandfather and his brother on the 1920 census at St. Peter's Orphanage in Manchester. I still want to know more.

    • I am so excited to see your photos of Manchester. I am trying to fill in some gaps of my grandfather's history. but Our family was always told he spent time in an orphanage there after his mother died in 1918. He was born in Suncook,NH and moved South as a teenager.

    • I am searching for information on Joseph Dionne. I am purchasing a home in Manchester, NH that was built in 1920 and I have found him on one of the deeds dated 1938. He actually was selling the home in 1938. I am wondering if this is the same Joseph that you have on your site. Do you have any other information on Joseph? If this is the same Joseph I would love to see other pictures you may have of him or of his home in the 30's. Thank you for any help you can give me.

    • I've had time to review my gen files & have found that Lorraine's grandmother, Amanda CABANA & I are 5th cousins once removed. Although our relationship is distant, we are cousins. I have the CABANA lineage if you're interested.

    • I am working on a friend's genealogy. Her name is Lorraine Coughlin Gagnon. Her mother was Blanche Hebert daughter of Joseph Pierre Hebert and Amanda Cabana. In going through the photos and docs. you have uploaded I see that you have included a picture of Lorraine's mother and father, Peter Joseph Coughlin and Blanche Hebert. She and I were wondering how closely you and Lorraine might be. We would love to hear from you.

    • I am studying the Perron family name. I noticed a Catherine Perron in your research. Would you know of any relations to Louis or W. H. Perron in Montreal or a Fannie Perron nee Fannie Diamond or Persky a French teacher and later the first female attorney in the State of Illinois.

    • bommetje3: You requested info re: DEKKERS, who may have married at a hotel, restaurant, etc. at 69 Taylor St., Manchester. Please let me know of that was in New Hampshire or some other state in the U.S. There are many cities by that name in various States. Once I have this info, I'll get in touch with friend if we're talking about Manchester, NH (New Hampshire). Please advise.

    • Hello Murmurd! I wonder whether you can help me. I am searching for a family called Dekkers. They migrated to the US in 1912/1913. In 1947 they visited the Netherlands and we then got some pictures of a wedding of one of their children in a rather big hotel/restaurant they owned in, I suppose Manchester. I have an address in that time: 69 Taylor Street. Can you inform me where to find any history about it? Thank you in advance! Gé Bom, Roosendaal, The Netherlands

    • Thank you so much for adding me as a friend! I'm so sorry to trouble you again, but I tried to order a print of one of your photos and it keeps saying that the resolution is too low. Is there any way you might please be able to tell me where you found the photo and/or how I might find a higher resolution version? It's the one of the Lake Avenue Confectionery Co. Many thanks for your help! - Cynthia

    • HI Jaye! Received your message on our murmurd Webshots site re: your BERUBE ancestors. I have quite a bit of info re: this lineage, so, if you can send me the name of both your parents: BERUBE+wife's maiden name, that of your grand & grgrandparents, I'll try to connect them to the lineage I have & will then send you a file containing all that I have re: the BERUBE. Write to me at: lineage42@hotmail.com suing a pertinent SUBJECT so that the email will not end up in the TRASH. Will be waiting to hear from you.

Andrea had provided some pictures you now show on your webshots site. I do have the photos Andrea provided already, but I am very interested in getting some others you have on your site and sincerely hope you will give me permission. This would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Christine Blythe

    • Dear murmurd, Just got back from the 2009 Descendants of David Cyr Reunion in Miltonvale, Kansas. Just found your message. Sorry it took so long. David Cyr married Belanger (died in childbirth), Julie Emilie Plante (died in childbirth) and Marie Oligny. Had lotsa kids, most either went to Vermont or Illinois, then Kansas. Mine went fron KS to TX to OK to California. Zephyren Cyr married Philomène Bourgeois in Illinois. Their daughter Delphine Cyr married Edouard Richard in Kansas. Their daughter Lena Richard married James Newton Caudle in Erath Co, Texas (the Caudles are a Founding Family there). The bunch (from Edouard down) moved to Oklahoma together. Lena and Jimmy Caudle's son Frank is my grandpa. He and a couple of his brothers moved to California in about 1945. If you are on Ancestry.com, I can send you an invite. That would probably be the quickest way to let you know who we are. And for you to see how many photos we have of the recent family.

    • Judy, I've just read the message you left on my Webshots page re: CATUDAL+ISABELLE. The photos that are posted are courtesy of an ISABELLE descendant, Rosalind. If you wish to send me an EM at lineage42@hotmail.com I'll then give your EM address to Rosalind, who most probably will get in touch with you. In the meantime, I'm forwarding your message toher. Of course, in your EM, I'd certainly appreciate your including some family info as to how you link up to this couple. And, I can then share whatever info I have with you. Will be waiting to hear from you. Muriel

    • I was delighted to find your pictures of Berthe Catudal - married to Joseph Isabelle and the picture of Arthur Catudal (1876-1938). I am doing and have been doing research for the last 5 years on the families Catudal including families with the names St-Jean and St. John who come from the Catudal line. Would you happen to have any other photos of from this line? Again, thank you so much for having shared your photos. Judy

    • Penniwinkle, Iif your ancestors came from Quebec, I may be able to help you. Could you please send me as much as you know about your ancestors to: lineage42@hotmail.com and include a pertinent SUBJECT so that the email won't be automatically deleted. If you can give me your name, parents, grandparents (both sides), gr.grandparents, etc. I'll see if I have any of them in my personal files which contain 109.000 individuals to which many are added daily. If no one is in my files, I'll try to trace them for you from here & then we can see about the photos.
