Thank you so much for adding me as a friend! I'm so sorry to trouble you again, but I tried to order a print of one of your photos and it keeps saying that the resolution is too low. Is there any way you might please be able to tell me where you found the photo and/or how I might find a higher resolution version? It's the one of the Lake Avenue Confectionery Co. Many thanks for your help! - Cynthia

HI Jaye! Received your message on our murmurd Webshots site re: your BERUBE ancestors. I have quite a bit of info re: this lineage, so, if you can send me the name of both your parents: BERUBE+wife's maiden name, that of your grand & grgrandparents, I'll try to connect them to the lineage I have & will then send you a file containing all that I have re: the BERUBE. Write to me at: lineage42@hotmail.com suing a pertinent SUBJECT so that the email will not end up in the TRASH. Will be waiting to hear from you.

Hi, My name is Christine Blythe (nee Turmaine), daughter of Gerard Ronald Joseph Turmaine and sister to Andrea Turmaine, who you've previously been in contact with. Andrea had provided some pictures you now show on your webshots site. I do have the photos Andrea provided already, but I am very interested in getting some others you have on your site and sincerely hope you will give me permission. This would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Christine Blythe

Dear murmurd, Just got back from the 2009 Descendants of David Cyr Reunion in Miltonvale, Kansas. Just found your message. Sorry it took so long. David Cyr married Belanger (died in childbirth), Julie Emilie Plante (died in childbirth) and Marie Oligny. Had lotsa kids, most either went to Vermont or Illinois, then Kansas. Mine went fron KS to TX to OK to California. Zephyren Cyr married Philomène Bourgeois in Illinois. Their daughter Delphine Cyr married Edouard Richard in Kansas. Their daughter Lena Richard married James Newton Caudle in Erath Co, Texas (the Caudles are a Founding Family there). The bunch (from Edouard down) moved to Oklahoma together. Lena and Jimmy Caudle's son Frank is my grandpa. He and a couple of his brothers moved to California in about 1945. If you are on Ancestry.com, I can send you an invite. That would probably be the quickest way to let you know who we are. And for you to see how many photos we have of the recent family.

Judy, I've just read the message you left on my Webshots page re: CATUDAL+ISABELLE. The photos that are posted are courtesy of an ISABELLE descendant, Rosalind. If you wish to send me an EM at lineage42@hotmail.com I'll then give your EM address to Rosalind, who most probably will get in touch with you. In the meantime, I'm forwarding your message toher. Of course, in your EM, I'd certainly appreciate your including some family info as to how you link up to this couple. And, I can then share whatever info I have with you. Will be waiting to hear from you. Muriel

I was delighted to find your pictures of Berthe Catudal - married to Joseph Isabelle and the picture of Arthur Catudal (1876-1938). I am doing and have been doing research for the last 5 years on the families Catudal including families with the names St-Jean and St. John who come from the Catudal line. Would you happen to have any other photos of from this line? Again, thank you so much for having shared your photos. Judy

Thank you for sharing with me your pictures and accepting me as a friend. I am attempting to save the picture of the Saint George Parish to add onto my ancestry tree for my grandparents. They were married there in 1909. I can't seem to save it. mrlwca

I found a photo of my great grandmother, "Carine Bourgeois" in one of your albums. I also saw a lineage of both the Bourgeois and Bergeron families. My name is Paul, live in Massachusetts. I would like to see if there is more info available on these families.

Penniwinkle, Iif your ancestors came from Quebec, I may be able to help you. Could you please send me as much as you know about your ancestors to: lineage42@hotmail.com and include a pertinent SUBJECT so that the email won't be automatically deleted. If you can give me your name, parents, grandparents (both sides), gr.grandparents, etc. I'll see if I have any of them in my personal files which contain 109.000 individuals to which many are added daily. If no one is in my files, I'll try to trace them for you from here & then we can see about the photos.

My family tried to reinvent themselves when they came to California in the 1940's. I have been searching through the files of beaurocrats to find my heritage. My people came to Kankakee, Illinois in the early 1800's and were part of the conversion to the Church of Christ by the congregation of St. Anne's. My family's names are Cyr, Richard, Bourgeois (Burgess) on that line, and Forni (Fornier) on another. Do you have any photos from there and then?

Thank you for writing me back. The spelling of my family name was Trudel years ago and now its Trudell, so we have both really. We are from New York. My Trudells went from Quebec to Rhode Island to Ellenburgh, New York which is by the Canadian border in Plattsburgh. My grandparents spoke mostly french but english and learned english when they were in there teens. My grandfather who i called pepe was a fiddle player and had a potatoe farm in Ellenburgh. They also were supposebly have known to have saw the virgin mary and went from door to door to solicite money so they could build there church in Ellenburgh. They also built a little school there as well and was even going to call the little town Trudellville. But i guess things went a little sour for them later on when one of the visionaires held the church (hostage). That is what has been said. This happened in the later 1800,s. They would have square dancing and fiddle playing in there house as well. They were an interesting bunch to say the least. Thanks again!

You have a great collection of Manchester post cards. I looked very hard at the Fletcher Shoe outing pictures, because I believe that either my mother or my father worked there. The photos of Pine Park brought back a few memories, unfortunaly when I went there it was on it's last days. Again, This was really nice. Thanks

What is your email address? Mine is p-hansen@cox.net and I'm trying to do my family tree. My grandfather was Albert Foy of Concord, NH and my Uncle Edgar said that Joseph Theriault was his uncle. Was Martin Foy married to Mary Theriault? My mom remembers my Aunt Edwina taking her to Dr Joseph's house. Any info you can give me will be much appreciated.

Hi Christine, This site is so slow.... IOs that tyou that left the reply to my comment. It should not be too hard to trace the Rosweau's back to France. It is a common name. It Britain they have this website for clusters on linguistic names from 1881 to 1998 and it shows the demographic drift over time. My family were in Scotland on the east Caost near Aberdeen and in a particluar town but over 100 years they moved all obver Scotland USA, New Zealnd, Tasmania, etc. The site is hard to undersatnd and it is imperative to use the "HELP" function menu to navigate the site. I don't know if France is included or if the french have sonmething similar. Theer were bound to be Rosseau's in the UK as it is a world famous name in literary circles. The Immigration Office in Quebec should have all the records anyway? The UK site is < http://www.spatial-literacy.org.uk > If it confuses you the homwe page has a menu on the left entitled 'related searches'. In this you will see name history links try them out to find your/ any name in the uk over the past 120 years. Also there must be a chicken or poultry board where you were that could come up with info on the breed of chicken etc as I would like to know that. I will have to ask Mrs Rosseau here, in NZ, where her husband came from before S.Africa? I may see her this weekend at the Taieri Poultry Show. Check out our Poultry Club's site at http://www.dunedinpoultryclub.edu.com-a.googlepages.com/ happy searching

First thing, thank you so much for your wonderful online genealogy work. The holy card album had me in tears, bringing back many happy hours with my grandmother looking at her cards and listening to her stories of the saints and her own family. I am Christine, great granddaughter of Mathilde(born Dulac,1874,Quebec)Choquet te.Her sister Virginie(born 1868) married Louis P. Tremblay(b.1871 Quebec) in 1882, in Quebec ,I belive, immigrated that same year and spent most of her life in Manchester, New Hampshire. Their children were Romeo(b.1893),Adrian(b.18 95)Estelle(b.1896)Clemenc ia(b.1898) Simone(b.1900)They also adopted Stella(b.1899)Hale and Elsie(b.1903)Hale when thier mother Mericie(b.1877)died.Louis ´father was Zephirin Tremblay(b.1830,Quebec)Lo uis and Zepherin are both listed in the Manchester Directory 1890-93 as horse shoers, living at 561 and 563 Elm,with a "location 1"address as 77 Lowell. They are listed in the 1900, 1910, 1920, census as Blacksmiths.I am looking for information on Virginie: parentage, the date and location of her wedding to Louis, what part of Quebec the Tremblays were from ANYTHING!! that will help me locate information about my great grandmothers family. which has so far been a dead end. Anyone with any information please contact me at pompeypompey@arcor.de. Thank you and I will of course share any info I have now and in the future!
