Due to the loss of images due to some sort of WS technical problem, I have made private most of my albums. I will probably be making all of them private except for the newest ones until I figure out a way to back up what's here as an entire body of work. I apologize for any inconvenience or unhappiness this may cause. However, I feel the need to protect my huge investment of labor in this project. Sincerely yours, Paul Ewing
Hi, and thank you for visiting my Winter Walk album. Yes, beagles are fun but also want to eat everything in sight. They have extremely stong noses when it comes to food. LOL But I love her anyway. Right now she looks like a giant jellybean with short legs.
Michigan Ave. in Chicago is still there and so is the Art Institue. Try this link for a map http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl and if that doesn't work, go to Google for their Maps and put in the words Art Institute near Michigan Ave.,Chicago, IL in the search. You can even click on satellite and see a birds eye view. zoom in and zoom out as well as grab and drag around Chicago. Loved the old postcard!!
Elena, I'm glad you liked the flower album...a lot of love was expressed in the flowers given in memory of my husband and I was able to enjoy them for a good week. I'm glad I took pictures of them.
Hi, you asked if my horse pic was a girl, sorry I didn't notice but I am sure she was. She was looking over at my husband sitting in the van while I took her picture.
Yes, Elena, potatoes and tomatoes were considered poison. I have a potato cookbook which has that history in it. Our Island is famous for our potatos. They are the best in the world. That is my biased opinion. LOL Thank you for your comment.
Thank you for visiting my photos. My fall view photo is tilted a bit. I hadn't notice it as I was too interested in the brook. I took five and this was the only one that was tilted that much. I don't have the software to fix it. Thank you for pointing that out. I will watch out for that from now on. It is very much appreciated.
Thank you, Elena, for your comment on my little dog walking in the snow. She loves it outside and yes, when they come in they smell so nice and fresh and clean.
Motany....watermelon, I was thinking of a melon myself....and everyone was saying it was made of cheese. It alsow reminded me of the bottom of a baloon. I have never noticed that funny little spot on the bottom of it before
Holo Elena, thank you so much for your invitation. I apologize for the late answord but I was out of the country .Tomorrow I'm travelling to Netherland for some days by return I certainly will visit your other albums. Have a fine week.
Thank you, Elena, for your condolence on the loss of my little kitty Love! I miss her a lot! Thanks too for your nice comments on my sister's kitten Gracie! Hugs, June
Hello, Elena. Thank you for the kind comment on my Vancouver photo. It was actually taken from our cruise ship as it was leaving the harbor. Have a fine Sunday! ...Regina
Hallo, Thank you for visiting my album of Kos . The horizon is not as it should be but probably I did something wrong because the parasols (sunshades) and text are O.K. Further the petanque game is easy. Everybody can play it : children, woman, men , younger persons and older ones. You need only a flat piece of ground and the “boules”. Per person 2 or 3 boules . Here can everyone buy it for approximately 8 euros . For that price you’ve 6 “boules” and the “cochonet” (target) . Actually I’m not very busy on WS because lack of time but surely I come back for your pics. Greetings
Hello Elena, thanks for the explanation, always glad to learn something new about the city of my childhood. I will be happy if you visit some of my albums. Luba
