I'd really like to know if your willing to share any info at all about what you did to the CR480, I have an 83 like yours, and have been looking at a way of trying to SM it wondering how you managed electrical, was it with the stock stator for headlights etc, as well any mods to the motor itself? Any and all info is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

A local Vette dismantler had it. It's non ABS (no wheel sensors), so it's 87-down vintage. Thanks Dave. Yeah, it's time for a better camera, but this one is OK. The car is really turning out great. I'm afraid that the twin turbo 461 will be too much for it. If traction isn't the limiting factor I'll have to swap in a Dana 44 center unit.

Great shots of IRS in the '68! Where did you get your IRS? Thanks Dave

The front forks and trees are from an 01 CR250R. Everything worked great...after I had to bore the frame neck to accept the CR's races for the steering bearings. Make sure you get a whole front end, wheel, brakes, and all. Then put a 17" rim kit on the thing, it'll handle much better. Let me know when you start posting pics.

Hello I really like the XL 600R you did. I was wondering what front end you used? I Have a XL600R I am building and I like the forks you used on your bike and the triple clamps. Did you make the triple clamps? Rob PS I will be uploading my bike soon.
