Elva, thanks for the lovely comment and kind wishes on my Gollum shot. He spent much of yesterday asleep in a big paper grocery bag. He'll get further tests on Wednesday and then we'll go from there. I see you teach piano; I trained as a mezzo-soprano in my youth, and also took piano but I was stupid enough to quit the piano lessons before I should have! Now I'm studying again after many decades - grade seven level in the Royal Conservatory book - and it's interesting how one's perspectives on piano lessons alter with maturity. I appreciate them so much more now. ~ Brenda

Hi, Elva! Just got back not long ago from the Hilton pool (not too many tourists today, thank God)! Thanks for the tip about the Canon Power Shot. You see, I have absolutely no idea what kind of camera I'd be happy with, considering that I'm certainly not qualified to deal with sophisticated stuff. Kelli seems to prefer some model of the Olympus for macro shots (mostly flowers, in her case). Elva: It's always a pleasure to visit your felines (LOL)! Must run now. Hello. Yes, I'm trying to be a diligent student. I just finished my semester so hopefully i'll be getting some more pictures up soon. I'm not taking summer classes.
