Great to hear that you enjoyed the canoeing pics, Riverman! I wouldn't in the least be surprised if our paths crossed in the past, either on the river or perhaps the QNS&L train, etc. You are spot on about the community of paddlers, and in particular canoe trippers, becoming smaller. At any rate, hope you are still able to get out and do interesting trips these days. I'm feeling pretty good at this point and want to do even longer trips in the future.
Hope you'll find the time to post some pics at some point!

Hey MMOORE175:
Thanks for posting some EXCELLENT pics! I gotta think we knew) each other...we're the same age and I grew up in Maine, canoeing the same rivers (Croix, Allagash, Machias, Bonaventure, Moise, North Shore, etc) at the same time. Looking at your pics is like looking back in time at my old neighborhood...great fond memories of those precise rocks and trees. The community of paddlers, even in Maine, who had such a passion for getting out into the northwoods wilderness and really exploring that region is small and getting smaller.
Thanks again for some EXCELLENT images and memories. :-)
