LOL!!! Well, you left me cracking up again. Thanks for taking the time to view my new Halloween Fun at Home album. Going through your comments was so fun. I kept laughing and Mathew asked what was funny. I said, "Uncle Marv" and he knew I was checking my comments after that :) That pumpkin titled "Wicked Grin" that you liked is the one Shutterbug painted this year. He was on call and got called that night so he didn't get to do a monster like I think he had planned. I really like what he did get to do though... it was perfect for the yard. Hey Marv, Thanks for the entertaining and inspiring comments on my "Halloween...My Way" album, some cool new ideas for next year, and some new T-Shirt ideas! Reminds me, when we were at the cabin I had a little "little zombie" fun, the pics couldn't be made public, but I think you'd get a kick out of them, I'll have to send you an invite sometime! Hey Marv, I think it's cool that you're rescanning your artwork to share with us, you amaze me with your talent and broad range of skills. Wish I would still have some of my better work, many were stolen from an art show in the 80's, some were sold, and the rest are around here somewhere! But, you've inspired me to seek them out, though mine is nowhere in the league of yours, I still might share them anyway! WOW -- I just logged on and there is the good news --- FINALLY -- or else the other shoe has to drop yet ;-) The last spams I received were a bunch of them on 10-25-09. Then I had my other eye surgery and hadn't seen any. I was even wondering if the Feds caught up with IDIOT and tossed idiot into the Famous/Infamous CROSS BAR HOTEL ;-) Let's keep our fingers crossed !! Charley

I just discovered last night that webshots no longer allows links to be placed in comments or on the message tab like they used to do. They can be there, but they are no longer active links to click on. When the mail is sent as a notifier it has a link , but it is the nature of any word doc or email to convert the letters www. to link. Maybe the spammers went away since they cannot leave active links anymore. I did not get any since yesterday and I got them everyday. I unblocked messages yesterday. Not sure if you sent anything on blocking links in messages, but I did send it to tech support over a week ago.

hi merlien remember the craig list killer? that is how the got him thru his ip address. even if someone uses a yahoo eamil instead of their main email the yahoo email can be tracked to your email and ip address. i have decided to block all messages but to buddies as i am scared of viruses. i have had only a few spams. i block then when i get them.

hi mirlen, i sent your list of spammers to ws. i got an email they will delete them. i would send any spammer on an amail to ws in the future i will. i don't know why but i don't get much spam. i am sure they will find me eventually and get me too. hope you had a safe halloween! mary

Duuuuuhhhhh --- Shows how Tech savy I'm not :-( I have hit the Block User for each spam name received for each picture. I HAVE sent info to FBI including how many spammer names I have deleted so far for my two accounts -- as of last week. I also raised the question of possible planned cyberattack especially with the busy Holidays comming up -- with lots of Internet activity etc. --- hoped that that would get their attention -- if they hadn't started already ;-) I gave them total access to my WS accounts so no problem there for them . Maybe if everyone sends a note to their FBI, Interpol etc something will get done. Whatcha think ??? Charley

"volvob12" had an Idea to block the spammers that sounds like a good compromise . At least until webshots can come up with something better . Block links in messages . Just on the photo messages area. The spammers don't seem to be going to people's main message area , just on the photo's area . Sounds like a simple solution . Maybe if we all suggest this in mass to webshots we could get rid of all the spammers . What do you think ? ( I'm sending this note to several concerned members )
