  • Hello BackpackerGary, This is a nice moderate trail with some steep climbs up the ridges. I would advise you bring plenty of water. Most of the streams are dry! Camping is good.   • Hi, I've been lokking at your Big Piney Trail pictures from the missouri ozarks. I live in the Kansas City Area and I'm only 18. I'm planning my first group backpacking trip. And we really want to go to big piney. I've never hiked it before but I've done my research and I was wondering if you had any advise to a novice hiker for the big piney trail. Thanks!

  • I am in Des Moines Iowa. I just back from Madison. Had to get my CDL renewed. It is good for another 8 years! You guys got alot of snow in Wisconsin. How is it up in the northern part of the State? I will be working at Devil's Lake Park again this year! Job starts sometime in May!
