Hello Mike. Thanks for checking out my Flywheelers Tractor Parade. I'm not sure what you would call the two-wheeled contraption, but operates on the gyroscopic principle. Greetings from sunny Florida. Jim

Hi Mike...
Just noticed you worked At Yorkshire Eggs, I am researching the Kemp family in Drighlington who, according to family legend, were involved with this company. I was hoping you might be able to help, my e-mail is suentimb@yahoo.co.uk if you would care to help.
Cheers

Hi Mike, Thank you for the kind comments on my photos. You're right, I am an American. Snug Harbor is in New York. Many years ago, it was a home for retired sailors. It has since become a cultural center and Botanical Garden for our borough. I have some photos of their rose garden in one of my other albums. There is also a Chinese Scholar's Garden (they actually brought artists over from China to design it; I think it was the first of its kind in the USA). Someday, I'll figure out where I put all the photos I took when it opened; and I'll be able to put them on WS. Regards, Lora
Dear Mike thank you so much for your very kind and gracious words you give me much more credit than I deserve. What actually happened is that I was sitting next to my son in him game viewer (my son is a game ranger in South Africa) and I took one or two shots of this very inquisitive giraffe and then I lowered the camera (with the lens still pointing upwards) and sat and looked at this guy in total amazement, as he was trying to put in head into the game viewer, I got so carried away (and a little scared) that I accidentally pressed the shutter button. When I got home and viewed it on the computer I just thought “Ag this is not to bad I will keep the photograph” but I never posted it onto webshots because I felt it was not good enough. When this challenge came up I thought well this would be a nice entry never thinking in my wildest dreams that it would win ! I am still on cloud 9 and I just do not know when I am going to come down as it is pretty dam nice up here LOL Thank you once again, kind regards out of Africa
Hello Mike,
The car you asked about is a 1939 Talbot Lago, made in Paris, France. No two are identical. All cars that left the factory were different in some way.
Ralph Lauren, the famous merchantiler, has one that has been fully restored, AND IT IS MAGNIFICENT. There are three other photos at my page, tonytigrrrr.
Good afternoon Mike.Thank you for letting me know that it is Dewsbury Town Hall.I never noticed that girl until i had put the photo on Webshots and looked at it in full size.
Regards
Brian

Hi Mike, Thank you for the comment on my Big Ben & Westminster Bridge shot a few days back. Sorry it's a bit late - still catching up. I agree that it's the better shot, but shots in this aspect won't fit on the homepage. Tony.
Thank you for browsing my album and give me those kindly comments. Very happy to know that you enjoyed it together with me.
Cheers, Ming from Hong Kong

Hi Mike! Thanks for visiting my POTD! It was taken in Nashville, TN here in the States. I never dreamed it would be featured, that's why there wasn't much of a description along with the photo. Anyway, thanks for stopping by! Best wishes to you! Kris :)
Hello Mike. Thanks for the comments on my Black 5 picture - not sure where you're seeing a truck shadow there, as I was stood on a road embankment when I took the picture. Love your vintage car pictures, by the way.
Hi Mike. Many thanks for the congrats on my winning challenge entries Home for a gnome I’ve never seen a Fly Agaric or Amanita muscria fungi of this grouping or size before. They were a real knockout
Cheers. Bernard. New Zealand.
You know I never looked at that black line either. It's the reflection of the underside of the piece of wood running around the edge of the boat, which can't be seen from the top, but only from underneath - like a dentist's mirror. Well spotted, and thanks
Thanks for looking at my pictures and thanks for your message, you cynical old ~*#*9} of a @. Your comment made me laugh out loud. The best one of the day. Thanks so much.
