Look forward to saying Hi again in January - coming over again with the Brits Fan Club.. think you may remember me from Yorkshire, England and Sally Bryant's friend - Sally from Memphis originally -saw you briefly in August but too far away to shout HI MIKE !! Have pics with you at Audubon but how do we upload them or get them to you to see? Also there in 2005 at Audubon when George Klein was making a documentary and they interviewed and filmed couple of us from Brits Fan Club but never heard any more if the documentary went out or going to go out?? Michael, we moved into 1187 Oakridge in oct of 1957 (2 houses from the corner of oakridge and rhodes)..remember all the crowds going to see the Elvis house even tho evidently he had already moved to Graceland or was almost gone. There were Saturdays my folks couldnt even get out of the driveway!I had always thought the house and the brick fence were always white when Elvis moved there.did he add the white after he moved in? Do you know if the new owners are planning on putting the musical notes that were placed in the circle (one in each circle and the cross pieces were the scale) of the wrought iron when Elvis lived there? They were placed like a musical note on a scale which my Dad always swore were set on the key of "E". Imagine that. I remember the notes vividly cause my Dad thought it was such a nifty idea. Thanks so much for the great pix of Memphis. I may be in Kansas but you keep it close to me. I did notice when I was in Mfs in August that the new owners were putting up awnings with a "P" on each. Dont think those were there either... thanks again.

Dear Michael, Greetings again from Scotland, and thank you so much for your wonderful Memphis tour and book. My tour was planned around the places I particularly wanted to visit and you made that all possible and I learned so much more about Elvis from you and the visits to all those special places will stay with me for ever. Also the fact that you had actually owned and lived in the Audubon Drive house made it feel as if I'd almost been in the company of Elvis. Memphis is a very special place, because Elvis grew up there and always returned there, and even when he was rich and famous, he never forgot his roots, and you, Mike, with your knowledge of his background, have a unique gift to bestow on visitors to Memphis. Dear Michael, greetings from a Scottish Elvis fan and thank you thank you thank you for such a wonderful insight and virtual tour of Memphis and Tupelo. We are making the trip of a lifetime, flying over from Scotland and visiting Nashville, then Tupelo on 27 May, then on to Memphis 29/29/30 May.
