  • I have just found this website and have some questions. For years I have been slicing black walnut shells and using them in canes, and gunstocks. The idea of using them in baskets sounds really neat. Can you direct me toward any information about collecting, processing, and using pine needles for this craft? I live in deep East Texas and have many acres of pine trees and black walnut trees. It's a shame to watch this stuff just rot away when there is so much beauty and potential there. Any info is appreciated. Thank you Bart Wheeler

I have done many crafts throughout the years and have collected just about everything. I have now decided that I need to cull out the old stuff and stick with my latest 2 loves, mosaics and basketmaking. I've finally decided that I can't do it all.
