    • Mary....Just discovered your wonderful collection of Civil War blocks....I started a CW..BOM...SORT OF...on About.com....Since then, I have been totally captivated by CW blocks and fabrics. Finding your Webshots page was like finding a gold mine! Such an inspiration.... I have not been hand piecing long (under a year), but have truly caught the bug....I love making CW blocks by hand...It's getting to be an addiction...Each block leads to another one... Sandy Grogg

    • Hi Mary, I saw your "emma ann" quilt on the JLWclub yahoo group and am trying to make it now. Was there a pattern from JLWclub 6? Do you have any idea where I might find that (is it published in any books?) or was it just something you got from the club. Thanks for any info, Sara

    • Mary what an inspiration, your creations are beautiful. I was so inspired I put a few pics of my work on here, although I'm quite a patchwork novice. I enjoyed looking at your works of art and wish you many happy hours patchworking, God bless you Mary for sharing your creativity with us.

    • Hi Mary, I tried to comment, too, on your I Believe quilt. It looks wonderful. I've had mine completed for awhile and just yesterday started quilting it again. I am doing the big stitch with perle cotton. I like the way it is looking. I'm a DJer, too, and it's great to see all your stuff related to that. I am going in Feb. to a retreat with Brenda P. and can't wait to meet her. Thanks, Sarah in Houston

    • Hi Mary, I tried to comment on your Prairie Basket and the program won't let me...? Oh well, I found a way to send you a message. Someone told me she makes a mistake on each quilt to make it unique and completely hers. Your basket wallhanging is unique and completely yours ... and lovely. Thanks for sharing. Marie in KC
