Dear Marilyn, Your comments in my Misty Mountain of Albay and Lake Buhi albums are such a delight to read. Nakakataba ng puso talaga! Dear Marilyn, thank you so much for your kind comments on my storm album. But I realize that, compared to the typhoons that are encountered in the Philippines, that storm certainly did not cause as much damages. But it was exceptional for the Montréal region. And I must admit that when the winds reached 111 k/hr and the tree fell so close to my balcony, I really got scared! When the rain abated, I noticed the begonias were covered by little water pearls. Nice enough to be photographed! Yes, dear Marilyn, they have beautifully recovered. Summer is almost finished now, and I plan to take pictures of the colors of Fall. What a feast for the eyes this is! I hope to hear from you very soon and thank you again for your nice visit. Warm greetings, Annick

O pahabol lang ito, Marilyn. I almost forgot to thank you for that wonderful comment about my Golden Shower Tree album. Deeply appreciate what you said there, and yes, that tree never fails to lift my spirits up. I think my neighbors also feel the same way. When my family moved to our home in Tandang Sora in 1981, I noticed that a neighbor some blocks down the road had this Golden Shower tree in full bloom in her front yard. Naturally, I knocked on her door & paid her a compliment for adorning the subdivision with this resplendent tree for all our eyes to feast on. Right then and there, she gave me a sapling as a house warming gift. THAT is the tree you saw now in my album, Marilyn. In no time, you will also have your own Golden Shower blooms in your provincial home for your own personal viewing pleasure (including your neighbors!). Dear Marilyn, It was one of those sad times that I go and visit quiet places near my home. The "Quiet Place" album you visited was shot mostly from Himlayang Pilipino, which is about 5 km from my home. Yes, it's a cemetery but a nicely kept one so it doesn't really feel spooky. In fact it is a restful place for strolling and de-stressing, so to speak. :-) So now I thank you, dear friend, for taking that stroll in the park with me. I must also admit the flowers are a delight to take pictures of, and you have chosen to comment on those personal favorites of mine. You certainly have managed to make my day (even weekend) so bright with all your rich and many comments! I am so blessed by and thankful for your friendship, Marilyn! Oh Marilyn, I am glad that you enjoyed your visit to my Heron Feast Tival album. It seem like I spend a lot of time hanging around Norfolk Azalea garden and its surrounding tidelands and waterways. It is rich with flowers and critters that make nice soothing sound that relaxes me deeply. I will surely visit that place again when I return September to see if I can get more pictures of that beautiful Heron and who know, someother kind of bird. Have a great day, my friend!

Magandang araw sa iyo, minamahal na kaibigan. Thank you for taking the Beacon Hill walk with me. Thank you too for spending time to look at my Snowbirds photos. It sure was fun to watch them fly around and around our house that day. Btw, remember that Luminara photo that you liked? You said it looked like an abstract painting. I was pleasantly surprised and honoured at the same time when it was featured in the entertainment section as today's photo of the day. That really made my day. Hi Marilyn, I'm glad you enjoyed my Luminara album. It was a fascinating event and we're glad that we were able to make it this year. It was rainy and cold last year so we didnt get the chance to watch. The lanterns actually reminded me so much of our very own parol and the annual lantern parade in UP. Hi Marilyn, thank you for visiting my "Olango" album.. Yes it would be great if you visit Olango, its a great diving spot or if not you may do snorkeling in their fish sanctuary.. not to mention that it has a bird sanctuary where migrating birds frequent. On Olango the peak months for the southward migration are from September to November, while those for the northward migration fall between February and April.. -virgie-
