Malinda! are you still wandering around back there? I don't know if you heard the terrible news since I haven't heard hide nor hair from you lately. I got diagnosed with esophageal cancer and have been rushed into chemo/radiation, with all the goodies. I hope to survive it but my Hepatitis may prevent a simple go at it. So far I hate it a lot. I am sick or tired all of the time and this is really the first time in a couple of weeks that I have gotten online to inform the interested world of my uncertain future. I miss hearing from you and apologise for anything I may have said or done that offended you. I don't think that occurred but just in case. I miss hearing from you. This winged hero lives in Powerscourt Ireland. It's an old burned down castle with wonderful imperial gardens the likes of those of France and Q Gardens. It was so cold though and we had chills and hot flashes, we meaning myself and our friend who is going through her womanly time. We share hot flashes and sweat together. It beat doing it alone. My wife has less sympathy for me alone but with her friend too, heh heh, I could sweat, shake, and shiver to my heart's content. Anyway the gardens were beautiful as you will see in further images to come. Cold though brrrrrr. Hepschlep

Yes I did and thank you for asking Malinda. I got them back stripped of the filing system but I think I've got them all. I am reorganizing them and using back up better. All the images from Dublin were lost and I got them all back. Take a look at the past few albums when you get the time. Thanks for your empathy about that near tragedy. I am here in CincinnatiO. It's our 25th wedding anniversary today. That's a big chunk of time eh? I am sorry but my hard drive containing all of my work went kablooey! I haven't been myself since. I have no creative outlet since losing all of my RAW work from Ireland as well as the rest of the world. I haven't given up yet with the possibility of finding all of this work but losing it is definately disabling. I just don't know what to do. I keep searching the innards of my computer hoping to find the missing files, but no luck as yet. I do have all of my processed work here at Webshots. But I am finished with those. Hey I just tried to leave a comment on one of your pictures, and there was not a "comment" box. They all said that there were no comments. I also checked with moms account(she's a paid member) and it was the same thing. You might check in your account options and make sure that you have everything set so everyone can do anything...

I still can't figure out how to "comment" at the individual images. There is just the note saying "No comments yet". But there is no place to comment. So I must come here. I was commenting on the first picture I saw Ballet Trio. It's beautiful and you don't have as far ro go as you think. The technical stuff is learned eventually in my case. I do it by trial and error. I create a pattern of what to do on each picture. Starting with the top, the adjustments, autolevel. Then work down. I like to push the controls to their zenith, then back them off until I find the correct position. You do need to find the "Despeckle" and all of the controls you mentioned should have profound effects unless you have something pushed that shouldn't be, that may be locking up these thingies. Hmmm. It is Photoshop CS3? isn't it? Anyway. You already make wonderful work and have the basic stuff already emblasened in your punkin Haid. You know how to put color and shape and line together effectively. That I can see. Just let all the tech stuff take it's time to sink in. Use what you feel comfortable using and every now and then when feeling extra brave, push something you've never pushed before. Bingo! I am happy you are talented Malinda. Hepschlep
