Hello Lollypeter100. My name is Steve. I have been to Greece twice, and loved Rhodes, Naxos, and Santorini. I am discussing with my reluctant wife about staying a week in Western Crete. Can you recommend the best base, and some good day trips? I do want to hike the Samaria gorge. Also, is there any very good snorkeling that you are aware of? We like good beaches, the old town part of European towns. THanks so much for the consideration. I enjoyed looking at your pictures. Chania looks like a nice place. What is the easiest way to get from Iraklion to Chania? Steve
