  • Hi Irena, I believe I saw your missing quilt at the HMQS in 2007 -- I also believe I belonged to your Yahoo group at or around that time, I have no experience with your painting technique but that is where I learned of it and I may have seen it come thru email via an email about quilts. I'm still pretty sure I saw it in person at the HMQS in SLC, unless there is another similar to it. Did you ever find it, I noticed your post does not say it was shown at the HMQS in SLC, I hope you find your beautiful quilt, I hope I can come to a workshop at some point in the future. Please invite me again to your yahoo group on quilt painting. I can't believe it is missing, I feel so bad for you. Lindy

  • Hi Irena, I have just purchased your book, Quilts of a Different Colour, and I can't wait to get started. As I live in Canada, I have had to send to US to obtain the Versatex Fixer, ( I did find the other 2 ). My question is, will I have to heat set anything I do without the Versatex, and if so, how do I go about doing that? Your technique is really fascinating and I love that we don't have to piece first!   • Hi Irena, I live in Australia and yes a quilter and would like to learn about your painting techique. Wants pencils do you use, want medium do you set your fabric with. Do you have any books etc I could purchase to help. Thanks Marie
