Hi Again, I live in Essex ON.Just wanted to say I visited Harry's Hr in June 06. Found some of your favorite spots but wish I had been able to spend more time there.It was a beautiful day. Returning to Newfoundland next June, for a class reunion, but I expect I will be spending most of my time around the east coast. I dream of some day driving all over Newfoundland with my camera!! I'm intrigued by your photo's of Harry's Harbor & Upward's Cove. I'm sure our Upward families are related, as it seems that we all originated from Dorset. My Mob are from Stourpaine in Dorset. My Great Grandfather, George Upward moved to Hove, Sussex, in the 1860's. I moved from Hove to Australia in 1960. I notice that there are similar Biblical family names in both the Newfoundland Upward's and Mine e.g. Jerimiah and Nehemiah. The furthest I can get back, is James Upward 1740 of Stourpaine (1n the 1850s, there were over 200 Upward family members in this little village, which I visited last year where I found 1 live Upward family and many more not so alive in the local church yard, all related to my Upward family.) I will post some photos of some of the quaint old cottages that I found. I'm sure there is a link between our families somewhere.If so I will Ferret it out. Regards Keith Upward Queensland Australia
